History

Theatr Clwyd is Wales’ largest producing theatre and was built in 1976. Its stages have been graced by Anthony Hopkins, Vanessa Redgrave, Timothy Dalton and Owen Teale among others and in 2018 Theatr Clwyd won an Olivier Award for Home, I’m Darling which starred Katherine Parkinson and Richard Harrington.
