Record a Voice Message

We want to feature listeners' voices in The People's Songs. Using our Audioboo channel, it's easy to record and send us a voice message.

What's Audioboo?

Audioboo is a free website which allows you to upload and share short sound recordings online. Radio 2 has a 'channel' on Audioboo where we'll be sharing preview clips of upcoming episodes of The People's Songs.

We're also inviting listeners to send us a voice message using Audioboo.

If you have a comment or story you'd like to contribute to any upcoming episode in the series, why not record it as a voice message using the microphone on your computer or phone?

How to record your message

Recording and sending us a voice message is simple. Just click the link below to get started.

You'll be asked whether you want to:

 - Start Recording (using your computer's microphone)
OR
 - Upload a recording you've already made and saved on your computer.

Then just follow the simple prompts to finish and submit your recording - you can preview it before sending and include an image (if you wish).

*Important*- please provide your name and an email address within the Description box before submitting your recording. That will enable us to contact you if we want to feature your message in the series.

We look forward to hearing from you!

How will my message be used?

If we like your recording, we'll try to feature it within the episode of The People's Songs that your message concerns. So you might end up hearing yourself on BBC Radio 2!

If the audio quality isn't good enough for broadcast, we may need to contact you to arrange a better quality recording.

We might also publish your recording on our Audioboo channel, so that other listeners can hear your story.
