Research your surgeons on the General Medical Council's register
Searching your surgeon’s name on this website will give their level of qualification - the highest level of qualification is to be on the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery - this means they have had years of additional specialist training. This register will also show if there have been professional sanctions against the surgeon.
Research your hospitals or clinics on the Care Quality Commission's register
This link gives information on the type of procedures that do and don’t fall within Care Quality Commission’s regulatory remit as well as guidance for people considering cosmetic surgery
The CQC website allows the public to search for CQC inspection reports of hospitals and clinics.
