The Radio 1 Ibiza Prom

For the first time in its 120 year history, the BBC Proms welcomed Radio 1 to turn the hallowed Royal Albert Hall in to the euphoric madness of Ibiza.

Pete Tong, Jules Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra transformed dance classics in to orchestral masterpieces with the help of John Newman and Ella Eyre.

We kinda knew from rehearsals that the night was going to be pretty special

But then the night started with a blistering Fatboy Slim track

Elle Eyre came on stage to properly wow us with a version of Good Life by Inner City

The hits kept coming

Radio 3 kept raving

And then they started playing Insomnia

John Newman joined the Heritage Orchestra on stage for a stunning performance of You've Got The Love

But no one really wanted it to end
