Draw Your Album (or single): Mura Masa

Once Mura Masa (real name Alex) had finished his stunning Live Lounge set for Radio 1's Live Lounge Month, he did us the honour of showing off his artistry skills with Draw Your Album.

And TBF it seemed fitting, seeing as HE was the one who designed and illustrated what we see on his single cover for What If I Go.

Basically, it was the most challenging Draw Your Album yet, and even though Alex was daunted by the challenge he had no problem recreating the awesome artwork. "I actually drew that," he casually tells us, before he attempted to replicate hours of painstaking craft in mere seconds.

We reckon he did a stellar job - his approach was more, shall we say, minimal.

We could tell he was a natural - just look at that posture.

He's clearly a man that takes his art seriously...

So yeah, Alex gave us a swift masterclass in drawing, with his minimalist yet accurate attempt.

And he was kind enough to sign his work, just in case we decide to auction it.

In all the excitement, none of us, including Alex, realised the image was upside down but we don't care IT'S ALL ABOUT ARTIST INTERPRETATION.

Beforehand, Mura Masa smashed it during his Live Lounge sesh, giving us an ultra laid-back, mellow few tracks.

First up, he did a super-chilled version of his own single, Firefly, on guitar and was accompanied by long-time collaborator Bonzai on vocals. Honestly, it was pretty spot on.

He then did a really smooth cover of Major Lazer's Lean On, which was a bit special.
