This is a scene that develops from the increasing pressure on Roz, but it leads to one of the clear statements of the theme. ACC Hilton distinguishes between "facts" and "truth".

The criminal justice system often asks juries to listen to competing accounts of an incident put forward by the Prosecution and the Defence, and the jurors must attempt to determine some kind of objective reality.

Over the years I've experienced people promulgating a lack of distinction between facts and myths in the context of attacks on science, and now the practice has expanded to other areas of life.
