About David

David Baddiel has been a star of the screen for over 20 years. He first became known in the early ‘90s for topical sketch show The Mary Whitehouse Experience, followed by Newman and Baddiel in Pieces.

Not long after that, David began his long-term collaboration with comedian Frank Skinner. Together the pair created Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned, Fantasy Football League and Baddiel and Skinner’s World Cup Podcasts. All the while, David was busy writing and publishing his own works. He currently has seven books, a film and several stage shows to his name.

As if that’s not enough, David also played the UK’s first ever arena comedy show with Rob Newman back in 1992, playing to over 12,500 people. But while he may be the man who made comedy “rock and roll”, he’s also a dab hand at the real deal.

As a keen guitar player and pianist, with more than chart-topping football anthems in his repertoire, David’s here to inspire you to get playing.
