ASKING FOR CLARIFICATIONSean: I work and study with many people from all over the world and if someone says something which I don't understand, I usually say: "Can you repeat that again, please" or "Sorry, I don't understand what you mean" or "Sorry, I'm not with you" or sometimes "Sorry, can you speak a bit more slowly, please".
It's important to ask for clarification or repetition - both in study and in business.
