EU chief negotiator, Michel Barnier, said di new deal go rest on four main elements:
- Dat Northern Ireland go remain align to limited set of EU rules, notably wey relate to goods
- Dat Northern Ireland go remain for di UK customs territory, but go "remain entry point" for di EU's single market
- Dat dem go get agreement to maintain integrity of di single market and satisfy di wishes of di UK over VAT
- Dat Northern Ireland representatives go fit decide whether to continue to apply union rules for Northern Ireland or not every four years
