Valentine Ozigbo, Senator Ugochukwu Uba win PDP primaries in Anambra state to become candidates for November governorship poll

Two candidates from two factions don emerge to represent Nigeria opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for di upcoming governorship election for di state.

Valentine Ozigbo win di PDP primaries of di faction wey hapun on Saturday for di Dora Akunyili Women's Development Center for Awka while Senator Ugochukwu Uba win di one of di faction wey hold dia own for St. Paul University primary school Awka on di same day.

While Ozigbo win with 62 votes, Senator Uba win with 275 votes.

Announcing di result after di voting exercise for St Paul, di Chairman of the electoral committee, Captain Obidi Ebede, declare Senator Ugochukwu Ubah winner with 275 votes.

While announcing di victory of Ozigbo, later on, Phillip Shuaibu Chairman of di electoral committee say na 16 aspirants contest but three bin step down, including Dr Tony Nwoye.

Ozigbo win with 62 votes to defeat im closet rivals Obiora Okonkwo and Senator Uche Ekwunife wey get 58 and 44 votes respectively.

Soludo score 740 delegate votes to win oda aspirants - Damian Okolo, Thankgod Ibeh and Okwudili Ezenwankwo for di 2021 Anambra governorship primary election.
