Authorities for Nigeria go shutdown di third mainland bridge completely for three days beginning from midnight Friday January 29 to Sunday January 31.
For statement Di federal controller of works Lagos Olukayode Popoola say di closure na sake of say dem wan cast concrete on top additional three expansion joints and dem no wan allow kind of vibration for di bridge.

Dis go mean say traffic go now dey heavy on alternative routes into di Lagos island particularly di Ikorodu road.
Thirdmainland bridge wey be one if di longest bridge been don dey undergo series of repair works since July 24, 2020.
