He tok say dem go extend di current academic year till di end of 2020 sake of di disruptions wey di pandemic cause.
"We don take deliberate approach to close all schools during dis period wey we dey expect say di cases of infections go increase for di kontri," he tok.
Di president also announce $30bn (£24bn)package to fund health services and help pipo wey dey in greatest need.
