Some group of traders from Zambia don dey Ghana to learn how to do garri and oda tins from cassava, so dat dem go begin make am for dia kontri.

Dis learning go also help Zambia goment introduce garri as part of di food wey dem go give school pikin dem inside di kontri for dia school feeding programme.

Ghana news agency(GNA) report say na seven pipo dey di group of traders wey come from Zambia for di 10-day trade mission inside Ghana.

Madam Kayula Siame, wey be permanent secretary for di ministry of commerce, Trade and Industry, republic of Zambia na im lead di Zambia group come Ghana.

She carri waka go visit Ghana Food Research Institute (FRI) to do tok-tok wit di scientists and learn how di institute dey help develop Ghana cassava production sector.

She say her visit to Ghana dey very important to her kontri because e go give pipo wey come di opportunity to tok and learn beta experience.

One member from di group, Charles Mulombwa tell Ghana News Agency say Zambia goment wan start garri processing among 500 women-groups inside Zambia and go come later increase production all over di kontri.

Garri na food wey plenty pipo for sub-Sahara Africa dey chop well-well. Dem dey get from cassava root. To make am, pesin go first uproot di cassava, grind am to flour, dry and fry am.
