University of Calabar suspend dean faculty of law ova alleged sexual abuse

Di management of University of Calabar (UNICAL) don suspend and ban di dean of faculty of law, Professor Cyril Ndifon from di campus ova allege sexual abuse against undergraduates for di institution.

Following di public outcry for social media ova di protest of undergraduates for di faculty of law as dem gada for Monday to express dia displeasure on di sexual harassment wey di dean of di faculty dey do.

Di university announce for dia Twitter page on Thursday say dem don suspend Professor Cyril Ndifon for di violation of di institution policies.

Di management of UNICAL tok say dem don relieve di dean from all im duties and place am on suspension while di institution panel begin investigate di allegations against di dean.

Despite di high rate of sexual misconduct, assault and exploitation for universities many Nigeria universities still dey ignore di menace of “rape culture” among lecturers and students.
