Police don move di case of di murder of late Salome Eleojo Adaidu from Nasarawa state to Abuja wia her family dey live.

Dis dey come as di family of Adaidu dey call for justice as dem still dey mourn di tragic and sudden death of dia daughter.

Salome die wen her boyfriend allegedly behead her for Nasarawa State, north-central Nigeria.

Police allegedly gbab Timileyin Ajayi wey be gospel singer wit Adaidu head on Sunday 12 January near one church for Orozo.

One video wey go viral on social media show as pipo surround Ajayi wen dem gbab am and begin ask am question about di human head and di lady wey be corps member.

Im tok say Adaidu na im girlfriend and add say dem don dey date for about one year.

Police for Nasarawa confam di incident to BBC News Pidgin and add say dem find di remains of di victim wey dem dey cut into pieces for im house.

'Salome na my husband since my husband die' - Salome mama

Mother of di late Salome, Mrs Ojomachenwu Adaidu tok about di last moments she bin get wit her daughter and how she hear about her daughter death.

She tell BBC News Pidgin say she bin dey sick and bin dey for village wen di sad incident happun.

She run comeback house afta one policeman call her for phone kon tell her say her pikin get accident on Sunday 12 January, 2025.

"Around 3.30pm wen I bin dey lie down na im one pesin call me say im be police officer. Im greet me for Hausa, I kon tell am say I no understand Hausa but di phone wey im dey use call me na my daughter own. Im kon tell me say im go find pesin wey go tok to me."

Mrs Adaidu say one hour later di policeman flash her, she call am back. She tell am say na her pikin phone im dey use and e neva tey wey she tok to her daughter.

Di policeman kon tell her say her pikin just get accident na why im dey call her.

"Im tell me say dem dey Uke General Hospital. I say make I tok to her sake of say I no dey Abuja, but di policeman say no, Im say my daughter leg don break and dem dey give her oxygen. I shout say e don reach oxygen, I start to cry. Di policeman kon tell me say make I no cry, make I tell God thank you, sake of say if I no be beta pesin by now I for no know dis accident wey happun to my pikin."

Salome immediate younger sister and her brother in-law rush go di hospital. She say she no hear from dem again until evening.

"Na around 8 O'clock for evening wen my husband brother tell me say dem cut my pikin, say she don die now, I shout God forbid no be my pikin, I kon dey pray, I no know say e go dey like dat."

Di late Joseph Adaidu widow narrate say di death of Salome dey pain her well-well.

"She suffer wit school, she suffer for me, notin she no dey do for me, she go put somtin for head to sell so dat we go fit chop."

"See di way she kon die, I no fit again, I say make I follow her die, but pipo no allow me, I no fit tok again becos e too much for me," Salome mama tok.

Mrs Adaidu say e neva tey wey Salome father die, her leg sef dey pain her and Salome bin promise her say she go stand for her.

"Evritime I dey for village, na Salome bring Power Bank for me so dat she go fit dey tok to me evritime. Since my husband die, na she be my husband, now my oda husband don die," Salome mama tok as she dey cry.

She explain to BBC News Pidgin say na on Saturday two of dem tok last and Salome bin tell her say she dey wash her clothes.

"I call her on Saturday, ask her wia she dey, she tell me say she dey wash clothes, I kon ask her say na only you dey wash di clothes? She say yes, say di first born dey for parlour dey clean parlour."

"She also tell me say if she finish she go comot go wia she dey do her NYSC training, maybe na from dat training wey she go na im dis tin happun, becos di bag wey she use go di training na im police bring wey I see on Monday."

"Maybe as she dey go di place she enter 'one-chance' or dem do her medicine, becos she no get friends like dat. I want justice for my pikin," Mrs Adaidu conclude.

'We no know dat guy as her boyfriend' - Patience Adaidu

First born of di Adaidu family, Patience Unekwuojo Adaidu, say "Timileyin no be her boyfriend" and add say dem as family no sabi di guy as her boyfriend.

"On saturday evening my sister bin dey dress up to go out, she tell me say she dey go visit a friend."

"Di friend na pesin wey evribody sabi for our house for di past seven years and if she say she dey go visit dat pesin, we go allow her go becos we no dey stop pesin or restrict movement for our house," patience tok.

"We allow her comot from house on Saturday, till Sunday we no hear anytin from my sister again, all of a sudden as I dey go back to my station wia I dey work na im I get call say make I turn back dey go Uke Hospital say my sister get accident."

Patience say she ask for details of di accident, wia e happun and how e happun but police no give am answer.

"Wen I reach hospital, I meet my younger brother and our last born for dia, I ask dem wia Ele (Salome) dem tell me say Ele don die"

"Na im we comot from dia say make I go see Ele, I tink say na normal, like Ele just die as she get accident. I see Ele body dem pieces am to like 40 pieces.

"Clean pieces, e just be like say Ele na cow wey dem arrange for table put for ground. I ask di police wetin dey happun wit my sister dem no dey give me any information," She tok as she dey cry.

"Di next tin I hear na say her body too scata make we find wia to bury am, na wetin police tell me and also dey try convince my uncle, di only man wey we get wey dey follow us waka."

Patience say dem look for one corner bury Salome, but add say dat bury wey dem bury her, no be dia e go dey, na make dem fit keep di body.

"Mortuary sef dem tok say we no go fit carry am go say di body too scata."

Patience say since Sunday night dem neva fit sleep and dem start to waka for di case on Monday.

"Police tell us say di guy wey my sister follow na our firend, wit my life and evritin I know for dis life, I know all my younger sisters friends. Even my friends know my sisters and my sisters know my friends.

"Evribody for our family we dey know one or two pipo, and you tok say you know pesin for one year and your family members no sabi anybody out of five girls."

"Even though she no too dey close to me, two of my sisters na her best friends, our last born and her wey go di same University togeda, di same room, di same university no go know di pesin wey she dey date for one year," Patience tok.

She say, "Im just kill her, butcher her for im room, I see big big rubber dia, no man dey use big big rubber dey wash clothes, na bucket dem dey use, di way di act dey acted, im neighbours say na so speaker loud for im room, im dey butcher my sister, carry her head dey go Uke na im Okada rider see blood dey drop, kon stop am."

"Ele don die now she no go fit wake up kon tell us wetin happun to her, but at least dem cut Ele, dem slice Ele, dem pieces Ele, wetin we want na just justice for Ele," Patience tok wit anger and tears for her eyes.

According to Patience, late Salome get beta plans for life and her oga for Nicon Insurance bin just register her for one online training wey she dey do evri Saturday.

"Di first time wen dem bin call her to do dis professional course, na so my sister call me dey happy. She no dey spend money anyhow, she get beta plans for her life," Patience add.

Meanwhile, Timileyin Ajayi dey for di Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of di Nasarawa State Police Command for Lafia, wey be di state capital.
