Lagos state High Court don sentence to death by hanging BRT bus driver Andrew Nice Ominikoron say e rape and murder fashion designer Oluwabamise Ayanwola for di Lekki Ajah axis of di state.
50 years old Andrew Nice face five count charge of rape, conspiracy to commit felony and murder.
Im also dey accused of raping two Oda women Maryjane Odezulu and Dr Anosike.
For her judgement on Friday Justice Sherifat Sonaike say di prosecution show enof evidence to prove say di suspect commit di murder crime.
Nigeria law demand say any pesin wey commit murder go collect death sentence. While conviction for rape dey lead to life imprisonment.
On di oda count of rape, di court find am guilty say e do sexual intimacy wit Maryjane and Anosike, and attempted to rape Bamise. Say none of di three women be im wife.
Di judge describe di convict as a "paedophile, serial rapist and serial lair wey try to use im lies to deceive di court".
According to her, di defendant confirm to di court say wen di victim board di bus, na only two of dem dey inside di bus, though im bin deny am wen di case start.
She say di accused try to mislead di court instead of coming clean to tell di true of wetin happun. Court say di defendant know wetin im do get consequences na him make am run from Lagos to Ogun state wia e go hide.
Di prosecution use di voice note wey di deceased send from inside di bus before her death. Court say di voice note na her dieing declaration. Di voice note talk say di killer hold am down wit knife.
Total of 10 witnesses appear before di court, 9 from di prosecution and one from di defense counsel.
Court say di accused dey notorious for picking up illegal passengers wen im supposed don close work, e go off di internal light of di bus wey normally supposed dey on wen passengers dey inside. And im dey usually lock di door if di bus.
Court say "di defendant dey target young and vulnerable women and carri dem go location wia dem dey helpless and rape dem and no care weda dem give consent or weda dem go survive".
Im do vaginal penetration on im victims, and no get dia consent before di act.
However di court discharge and acquit am on di accuse of conspiracy.
Di court no find am guilt of rape of Bamise. But find am guilty of attempted rape of di 22 years old. Attempted rape dey carri penalty of 3years imprisonment.
