Youth group wey call themselves Arise Ghana to hit de streets of Accra today to protest against fuel price hikes den economic hardships in de country.
Dis be after Accra High Court grant de demonstrators permission to embark on one-day demonstration instead of dia planned two-day demo.
Ghana Police on Monday petition de court to stop de Arise Ghana demonstration from traveling into de night for security reasons.
De Accra High Court order demonstrators to embark on de protest from de morning of Tuesday to around 4pm same day.
But demonstrators say dem go go ahead with dia original plan two round off dia protest around 10pm on Tuesday evening.
Police take Arise Ghana go court
Ghana Police Service on Monday go court to stop two-day demonstration wey pressure group Arise Ghana wan do to protest economic hardships for Ghana.
According to de Police Service, de reason for going to court to stop de demonstrations be sake of security reasons.
Inside statement wey dem release, dem explain say de decision of de demonstrators to start around 3pm on Tuesday, end 10pm and continue de next day no be de best.
