Di Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) don call on di federal govment to rescue one of dia members wey gunmen kidnap on her way from di recent Call to Bar Ceremony for Abuja, di kontri capital.

"E dey heartbreaking say for time wen our nation suppose dey celebrate di future of di legal profession, young lawyers and dia families dey subjected to such harrowing ordeals.

"No family suppose endure dis trauma, and no citizen suppose live under di constant fear of insecurity on our roads," NBA tok.

Di Association call on di "federal govment and all relevant security agencies particularly di police to rise to the occasion, act with urgency, and ensure the immediate and safe release of our colleague and all odas wey dey captivity".

According to di NBA, di safety and security of Nigerians no go continue to dey treated wit levity.

Dem say na di primary duty of govment to protect di lives of dia citizens and demand intensified and sustained action to secure di kontri highways.
