On Monday, Illinois State Police release bodycam footage wey show di officers shouting at Ms Massey to put down a pot of boiling water as dem point dia pistols at her.
Di incident for di early hours of 6 July began wen Ms Massey call police to her home for Springfield, 200 miles (320km) south of Chicago, to report say she believe say someone bin don break into her property.
Officers follow her inside wen Ms Massey enter inside her house, and watch as she bin dey search for her identification.

"You better [expletive] not or I swear to God I go [expletive] shoot you for your [expletive] face," Mr Grayson tok. E come draw im pistol as e shout for her to drop di pot.
"OK, I dey sorry," Ms Massey tok before she dodge.
After shooting her, di officer tok say: "Wetin else we for do? I no go collect hot [expletive] boiling water for my [expletive] face."
Di video also record Mr Grayson dey tell im police partner say she no go need medical help.
As di oda deputy bin try to go get a medical kit, di officer say: "She is done. You fit for go get am, but dat na head shot."
Mr Grayson come comot to go get im own medical kit, after di oda officer say dem fit at least try to stop Ms Massey bleeding.
On Monday, di Sangamon County State Attorney’s Office say Mr Grayson bin no dey justified for im use of force.
