NLC warning strike get partial compliance across Nigeria
Di two-day warning strike wey di Nigeria Labour Congress call for happun but no be as dem plan am.

Di National Union of Air Transport Employees Association of Nigeria (NUATE) and National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) confam say dia members go join di two-day warning strike.
Di National Union of Banks, Insurance and financial institutions Employees bin also say dem go to joinbodi wit NLC.
Oda unions also come out to tell dia members to shutdown operations ahead of di strike.
But e be like say di strike no too dey effective as NLC bin plan am.
For Lagos, Nigeria commercial capital, many Banks open for operation as against initial believe say dem no go open.

Oga Ugboaja add say as a union dem still dey observe di non-compliance by dia members but “we no fit put gun for dia head to withdraw services”, as members dey try sabotage dia effort.

According to di Nigeria Bureau of Statistics, inflation dey 24.08 percent, wey make Nigerians dey cry about di worsening economic situation and high cost of food prices.
Oga Ugboaja explain say as dia members don complain about di high cost of living and dem dey feel dia pains na im make dem tok to goment about resolution but goment fail to take action.
E add say di union go sanctions members wey no comply wit dia directives.
“E dey hard for our members to dey survive as cost of living don become difficult na im make us put pressure on goment and we hold meeting wit goment to agree on solution but dem refuse na why we carry out dis strike but members wey no comply, sanctions dey for dem by di union wey dem belong.
Di NLC secretary explain say di union neva hear from goment but e no surprise dem as goment fit dey wait make dem start di strike afta anoda 14 days notice.
“During di meeting we hold on Friday we talk say from 1 September, we don alert goment on our 14 days notice but if dem no take action afta di 14 days notice we go withdraw our services completely.”
