'I bin tink say I go melt completely' - Survivors share horror of Kano bomb attacks ten years afta

For one interview wit BBC, some of di victims tok how di attack happun for dat Friday.

Abubakar Kabir wey dey about 10-20 meters from di explosion lose im leg, and e tok how di attack happun.

"We dey mosque to pray, just wen we wan start prayer, suddenly one Siena car drive fast from the southern gate (Kofar Kudu) near Emir’s palace," e tok.

"One young man dey inside di car, and pipo dey tell am make e switch off di car becos prayer go soon start, but e no respond to anybodi."

E add say, "One of di street vendors for di mosque approach am go di car try off am, but as e try to reach di car off am, di bomb explode."

Kabir tok say di bomb explode close to am, and di fire burn im leg.

"Wen di bomb explode, I feel say somtin hold my leg start dey melt am, and I tink say I go melt completely,” e tok.

"Dem dey shoot for di same time, and I drag mysef go somwia safe and one tin I no forget na di way I see pesin wey dem shoot for head, and for di same time di bullet comot from im head," Kabir tok.

“Later sombodi move me to safe place, and dem carry me go hospital and dem cut my leg."

Kabir add say many family no fit find dia relatives sake of di explosion, even say dem go hospital and dem gatz accept say dem no go see dem again.

Anoda eyewitness, Hamisu Yaro, dey inside di mosque wen di bomb explode.

"I dey inside di mosque wen I hear loud bang! We dey pray, den di explosion begin dey come close, at dat time pipo no sabi wia to run."

"Di Imam tink say prayer fit kontinu, but den we hear anoda explosion bang! di mosque turn dark, smoke full evriwia, and pipo dey run up and down," Yaro tok.

About wetin im no fit forget, e say, "Di tin I no go eva forget, one man from Yakasai wey be like our papa, dem shoot am for chest."

E add say wen di bomb explode, e confuse and e stop to hear anytin for im ear.

"Wen di bomb explode, I tink say, 'na feem or na end of di world be dis?' Afta dat, I no hear well again."

"You no fit sabi di pipo wey die sake of dem scatter into pieces," Yaro tok.

Yaro tok say since den, tins no eva return to normal, especially di loss wey e suffer for im business.
