The BBC created the title War Correspondent for Richard Dimbleby - one of Britain's greatest broadcasters. Dimbleby covered World War II in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. On 15 April 1945 he filed one of the most chilling reports of the conflict from the death camp Bergen-Belsen, after its liberation by British forces.
