What Nottinghamians say...

"The scenery in the Lakes and Ninety Mile Beach area of Victoria is fantastic, as is the fishing."

"The weather is amazing."

"It has no culture, no history and plenty of very big spiders."

"There's so much variety - tropical coasts along the Barrier Reef, wide open spaces around Ayres rock and cuddly wildlife, especially wombats. If you go, you must visit Sydney harbour - you're just drawn back to it time and time again."

"It's so big, it takes ages to get anywhere."

"It's the contrast between being one of the most dangerous places on earth and one of the most spiritual places I have ever seen."

"The light is fantastic and no one seems in a hurry to do anything."
