The sun shone and it was certainly a hot day for the children and their parents who took up BBC Radio Nottingham's challenge to enjoy a Wicked Day Out.
They had a go at caving, climbing, sailing and canoeing at the Mill Adventure Base.
For the younger ones there was the chance to do some jumping on the bouncy castle.
All the activities were run and supervised by qualified and experienced staff from Nottinghamshire County Council Youth Services Adventure Team.
