Potto and Hilda just can’t seem to take turns. Fortunately the question that comes in, "Why do we have to take turns?" sends Hilda off to learn from children who skip rope together. Hilda and Potto realize that when you take turns, everything is more fun.

By the end of the episode, Potto realizes that it’s important to try, even if something is hard at first.

After visiting children who are waiting “a wee minute” for scones to cool, Potto and Hilda realize that the length of a "wee minute" depends on who you are, and what you’re waiting for.

Hilda goes to the Halloween celebration in Londonderry/Derry. Hilda and Potto come to realize that Public Holidays are even better than birthdays because they are something that everyone can share.
