It is the aim of Let’s Play and Learn Together to provide a range of learning activities and opportunities which will help support progress in learning within PSE. The key learning intentions therefore are:

• to develop in children a sense of personal worth;
• to foster increasing self-confidence, self control and self discipline;
• to promote positive relationships between children, and between children and adults;
• to develop the ability to share, take turns, follow and lead;
• to encourage in children a greater sensitivity towards the needs and feelings of others;
• to promote a consideration for others; to foster positive dispositions towards learning;
• to begin to initiate in children a respect for living.
