You will need red, yellow, blue, black and white poster paints. It’s better value to buy these in large bottles. They’re available in art shops or educational suppliers. Make sure the paint is washable. The children should use the paint without diluting it with water.
- Sponge & Paintbrushes
Cut a sponge into 4 x 4 cm cubes. Buy a few paintbrushes of different thicknesses.
- Card/paper
Card with a non porous surface is useful for some of the activities and can be bought from art shops and educational suppliers. Ordinary sketchpad paper or cartridge paper will serve just as well for most activities.
- You’ll also need a pencil and scissors suitable for your child.
