AGROUND

Waterside man, Richie Fearon, ran aground in the Java sea after hitting a mis-charted reef. The Waterside man, who was the skipper of Cork – the Irish entry in the Clipper round the world yacht race - spoke to Stephen McCauley after arriving safe and well on dry land. He asked him to spell out exactly what happened when the vessel struck rocks.
