Rare white fallow deer.

We love showing off the beautiful wildlife that exists in Northern Ireland. These wonderful pictures sent to us by Eamon McClean from the Speedwell Trust show little bambies recently born in Parkanaur Forest Park near Dungannon.

Eamon explains that the quality of the photos featuring the fawns is not as good as he would have wished. They had to be taken from a distance because naturally the mothers are very protective of their babies.

So far three fawns have been born, but more are to follow. The Speedwell Trust are running some fantastic events this month, so seize the opportunity to see for yourself these new deer families.

Email Breathing Places if you have any photos that show nature at its best. Don't worry about resizing them. We can do that for you.

Your Place and Mine went down to Parkanaur Forest Park previously. See more photographs and listen to their magical visit here.
