BBC Radio Foyle is lucky to have a garden but at present it's a sad, neglected space. So as communities, schools and streets across the North West gear up to create Breathing Places, Radio Foyle felt ashamed. It is now leading by example and creating a Breathing Place with the help of Ivan Black and his team from the Ulster Conservation Volunteers. Planting Wildflowers In days gone by the fields of the North West were filled with wildflowers - in recent years as farming methods have changed the wildflowers have become a rarity. As we continue to develop our graden as a Breathing Place, Deirdre got out into the garden with Annie Mullan and planted some traditional wildflowers.
