The Old Oak Tree

Deirdre Donnelly from Radio Foyle went down to the woods with John to find an old oak tree. In fact, this oak is estimated to be the oldest oak in Derry.

Britain and Ireland used to be covered in oak woods but now they need to be protected. John talks about the oak, the species it supports and encourages us all to plant an acorn.

Listen in and be inspired.
