"This looks like a young common kestrel. It was sitting outside my bedroom window one morning at the end of July. At first I thought it was injured but it was only taking a rest and after I had taken the photographs it flew off."

"We live in Ballysillan, North Belfast and birds of prey are rarely seen in the area."
