Little hands and big hands had a wonderful day making butterfly feeders. With the help of their parents the children cut out and stuck bottle tops on to laminated paper which were then filled with cotton wool, which had been soaked in a water and sugar solution. It was a really wet day but the children didn't mind, as they were having so much fun planting their butterfly feeders. Making butterfly feeders is very simple so why not try it at home!
We also have great pictures of the Green Balloon Club event at Oxford Island.
Even though Green Balloon Club Week is now over have a look at the Green Balloon Club Make and Do page where you can download our amazing Nature Tales books or listen to the stories read by Huw Edwards on the Nature Tales CD.
