Lesbian Line is a phone service for women who are exploring their sexuality, and for women who sleep with women.

Run by Yvonne and Jo-Jo for a number of years, and working closely with the group WOW (Women on Women) in Norwich, the line has been a starting-point for women of all ages and life-experiences, whoneed someone to talk toabout their hopes and feelings, anxieties and difficulties, isolation or loneliness.
They may want to talk about their families’ or workmates’ attitudes. Many are married with children, some are still at school or college, and others don’t know where to meet other women who may feel the same as them. Others come to find out what’s on or where to stay in Norfolk, or to tell us about events so we can get the word out.
Families of gay women call, and we offer support on parenting issues. We have a huge network of lesbian-friendly services which we can put you in touch with, such as legal advice, counselling, and support and befriending groups. Some women keep in touch with us on a regular basis, and it’s always a privilege to hear the stories of courage, sometimes pain, and often love and joy that so many women choose to share with us.
