150 years since the first telephone call

On 10 March 2026 it is 150 years since the first ever telephone call.

The inventor Alexander Graham Bell patented his creation in 1876, and shortly after the first crackly call was made.

Since then phones have changed a lot. From big clunky machines to small gadgets that fit in our pockets.
