Colour company Pantone have named their colour of the year for 2026.
Called 'Cloud Dancer', it is a white colour which they describe as a blank canvas that allows "all colours to shine".

It is the first time white has been chosen as the colour of the year, and the choice has raised more than a few eyebrows.
According to Pantone, Cloud dancer "is not just a colour, it's a mindset".
They described the colour as 'calm and peace in a noisy world'.
Previous colours of the year include Mocha Mousse (a warm, earthy brown) in 2025, Peach Fuzz (a light, fruity tone) in 2024 and Viva Magenta (a crimson red) in 2023.
The colour picked can influence fashion and interior design.
