The Natural History Museum in London has been revealed as the UK's most popular attraction in 2025.
More than 7.1 million people visited last year, breaking the record for visitors to any museum or gallery over one year.
It's the first time the Natural History Museum, famous for its 25-metre blue whale skeleton, has topped the charts with the British Museum, also in London, holding the top spot for the previous two years.

What's the best attraction you've ever visited?
The Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (Alva), which represents popular places and sites in the UK, put together a list of the most popular attractions in 2025, based on visitor numbers.
The British Museum still made the top five, alongside Windsor Great Park (The Crown Estate) and art galleries, Tate Modern and the National Gallery.
According to Alva's list, other hugely popular attractions in 2025 include the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Royal Shakespeare Company London and Edinburgh Castle - each were visited by more than 2 million people in 2025.
The Royal Albert Hall, Westminster Abbey and the National Portrait Gallery were also in the top 20, with more than 1.5 million visitors each.
