New photo released to mark Prince Louis' eighth birthday

It's become a tradition for the Prince and Princess of Wales to release a new photo each year on their children's birthday.
So to mark Prince Louis turning eight, they chose a picture of their youngest son taken on a family holiday to Cornwall.
Often the Princess of Wales has taken the birthday photos herself but this time it was the work of photographer Matt Porteous.
The image is thought to have been taken earlier this month.

It was shared on social media by Kensington Palace with the message: "Happy birthday, Louis! Eight today!"
The photo shows the young prince smiling with his arms folded across his blue zip-up jumper. He appears to be on a boat, with the sea visible behind him.
Prince Louis is the third child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the first one to celebrate his birthday in 2026,
Older sister Princess Charlotte will be marking her 11th birthday next month, with Prince George turning 13 in July.
