What has been announced?

Disney first announced the live-action remake of Tangled in December 2024, with The Greatest Showman director Michael Gracey reportedly involved with the new film.
Tangled tells the story of Rapunzel, who has been locked away in a tower for most of her life by Mother Gothel.
Before her 18th birthday she meets loveable rogue, Flynn Rider, and together they hatch a plan for her to escape for a day to and experience the world.
The original animated film saw Mandy Moore as the voice of Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider.
But Disney have now announced that two completely new actors will be cast for those roles in the new live-action remake.

So far there's been no news on who might play Mother Gothel.... or Max!
Australian actor Teagan Croft is best known for playing superheroine Raven in the Teen Titans series and also starred in the lead role in Netflix's film True Spirit.
American actor Milo Manheim is best known for taking on the role of Zed Necrodopolis in Disney's Zombies films and he also stars in the teen drama School Spirits.
Disney made the announcement on their official social media alongside a photo of the stars
Teagan Croft replied saying: 'OMGGG WHO ARE THEYYYY.'
Filming for the new live-action film is due to get underway this year, but no release date has yet been announced.
