Four climbers were airlifted from a narrow ledge in Snowdonia after sheltering overnight in heavy rain and winds gusting up to 90mph (145 kmph).
The group, from Bristol, was well-equipped so mountain rescuers left them in the shelter on Clogwyn Y Person Arete until the weather improved.
Volunteers reached the stranded group at first light on Sunday, where they were found to be cold but unhurt.
The climbers were winched to the Llanberis mountain rescue team base.
