A West Mercia police officer has been cleared of a charge of rape.
PC Vinod Kumar Dahiya, 45, who has been suspended by the force, was accused of attacking a woman while off-duty in May and June last year.
A jury at Stafford Crown Court found Mr Dahiya, from Telford, not guilty of one charge of rape. It was unable to reach a verdict on a second count.
The jury was also unable to reach a verdict on a charge of common assault, and was discharged.
