
Four officers were treated for minor burns after the incident outside a Liverpool club
Nine men and five women have been arrested by police investigating a disturbance in which a petrol bomb was thrown at officers outside a club.
Merseyside Police raided 10 homes in the Anfield area of Liverpool.
Four officers were treated for minor burns after Tuesday's incident outside the Dockers Club in Townsend Lane.
Supt Mark Morgan said officers had "a lot of support" from the community, and promised that increased patrols would continue in the area.

All 14 were arrested on drugs charges, police said.
One of the men was also held on suspicion of possession of a firearm in relation to a previous offence and another was held on suspicion of burglary.
One of the women was arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace and obstructing police.
On Thursday, a man was charged with resisting arrest and a drugs offence in relation to the incident.
He appeared before magistrates and was remanded in custody until next month, when he will appear at Liverpool Crown Court.
