Police were looking for the group of men following a petrol bomb attack on Tuesday
A petrol bomb was thrown at police officers as they tried to deal with a man on the roof of a Liverpool club.
Merseyside Police said four officers were treated for minor burns after the attack at about 16:00 GMT on Tuesday.
The area was cordoned off around the Dockers Club, Townsend Lane, when a group of young men threw the bomb.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of intent to supply Class A controlled drugs. On Wednesday a man, 22, was held on suspicion of assault.

Police said one officer suffered "minor facial burns" while three others suffered "minor" burns to their legs.
Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Kennedy described the attack as "shocking" and "intolerable", adding: "I regard the throwing of a 'petrol bomb' as being in the same category as shooting a gun or using a knife."
