
Joseph Cummins was shot in 2009 just a few streets away from the scene of his death
A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 25-year-old man in Liverpool.
Joseph Cummins was found injured in Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, on Thursday night.
He had been shot several times as he tried to get into the passenger seat of a car. He died from his injuries later that night.
An 18-year-old man from Croxteth was was arrested earlier and remains in custody for questioning by detectives.
Mr Cummins was shot in the back in Gribble Road, Fazakerley, in 2009.
No one was ever arrested in connection with that shooting.
Police said they were not linking the two incidents.
