Dart frogs, seahorses and an octopus will join the butterflies, birds, and monkey sat Tropical World in Roundhay Park
A wildlife attraction in Leeds has reopened after the final phase of a two-year, £1.5m refurbishment project was completed.
Tropical World in Roundhay Park has new facilities and animals including seahorses, stingray, dart frogs, octopus and a red-bellied piranha.
The refurbishment was funded by Leeds City Council and a donation from the patrons the Ziff family.
The attraction opened in 1984 to the west of the 700-acre Roundhay Park.
A new Aztec-themed aquarium has been built in the second phase of work together with a new cafe and toilet facilities.
Environmentally-friendly heating and lighting systems have also been fitted.

The first phase of work, which began in 2013, saw the addition of a crocodile enclosure and viewing bridge.
Councillor Mark Dobson, executive member for cleaner, safer and stronger communities said it was hoped the refurbishment works would "make the experience for visitors even better in the future".
