Grimsby Town played Sheffield United at Blundell Park in July
Twenty-nine men have been charged after trouble at a football match left two police officers injured.
Glasses, bottles and other items were thrown at a pre-season friendly between Grimsby Town and Sheffield United.
The men have all been charged with violent disorder after rival fans clashed outside Blundell Park, Cleethorpes, in July.
Police said they are taking a "zero tolerance approach" to anyone caught causing trouble at football matches.
Of those charged, 17 are from the Grimsby area with 12 from Sheffield and banning orders will be sought against all those convicted, Humberside Police said.
Supt Dave Hall, from the force, said: "There is no place for this kind of violence and disorder around what should be an enjoyable, family friendly activity, supporting your local team.
"Our message is clear - behaviour of this kind will not be tolerated."
Those from Grimsby will appear at Grimsby Magistrates' Court on 7 December while the men from Sheffield are due at the same court on 14 December.
