A 61-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering a pensioner whose body was found in a 4x4 vehicle in a field.
Charles Broom, of Millhead Road, Honiton in Devon is charged with the murder of Hilda Oakland, 71, on 2 December.
Her body was found in a vehicle in a field off the A30 at Fenny Bridges near Honiton.
Mr Broom was remanded in custody by a judge at Exeter Crown Court.
He will appear in court again in March, for a plea and case management hearing.
