Georgie Ann Evans has been described by her parents as "kind-hearted and spirited"
A suspected hit-and-run driver has been arrested after a crash that killed a teenager.
Georgie Ann Evans, 18, from Himley, Staffordshire, died when her Ford Fiesta crashed with an Audi in Dudley on Thursday evening.
The Audi was abandoned at the scene, West Midlands Police said.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Ms Evans' parents said: "Our beautiful, kind-hearted and spirited daughter has been taken away from us."
A passenger in her car sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Sgt Alan Wood of West Midlands Police said: "Our enquiries are continuing and we are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
"In particular, we would like to speak to the driver of a light coloured van that was travelling along Priory Road shortly after the collision and turned left into Cedar Road, Wrens Nest."
