A group of Ipswich Town fans has started a campaign to improve the matchday atmosphere at Portman Road.
Max Helm of new supporters' group Blue Action, external said: "The atmosphere here is inconsistent, often very flat and can be very negative.
"We want to consolidate the fantastic like-minded fans who want to make some noise for 90 minutes."
He said he was liaising with the club on its ideas, including grouping Blue Action fans in the North Stand, behind the goal.
The club has been approached for comment.
Police are trying to trace up to seven young men who "ganged up" on an elderly man in Ipswich and forced him to withdraw cash for them.

They then walked the man to the cash machine at Sainsbury's on Hadleigh Road, where he withdrew cash between 00:30 and 00:40 on Thursday, and then walked him home.
He called police when they left at 01:00.
Det Ch Insp Jeff Yaxley said the "cowardly" suspects were aged in their teens to mid-20s and were believed to be eastern European.
A woman and two men from Norwich have been jailed for conspiracy to supply class A drugs including heroin and crack cocaine in the city.

Yasmin Luparello, 30, of Cubitt Road, was sentenced to two years at Norwich Crown Court
Connor Griggs, 21, of Skelton Road, received a 32-month term and James Dexter, 42, of Jordan Close, was jailed for 16 months.
All had pleaded guilty to drug dealing offences committed between November and March.
Det Sgt Matt Barden said: "We are continuing to take positive action against those who are concerned in supplying Class A drugs regardless of whether you are local or coming into the county to commit crime."
Tests are being carried out to see if the bones are linked to a skull found in the area a year ago.

A new drama starting on BBC One this weekend, from the writer and producers of hit police drama Line Of Duty, will include footage of Dereham in the dark!
The new series, called Bodyguard, stars Keeley Hawes as the home secretary assigned a heroic but volatile war veteran as her specialist protection officer, played by Richard Madden of Game of Thrones fame.

Some scenes were filmed in February on the Mid Norfolk Railway and its manager George Saville said the series will benefit the whole area.
"it's a good revenue generator for the railway and will bring in more people to benefit providers of accommodation, pubs, restaurants and attractions.
"We're just trying to figure out a place to put a television screen on the station so we can all watch it."
Bodyguard is on Sunday at 21:00.
