  4. Buddy's owner 'thrilled'published at 17:39 BST 10 June 2016

    Buddy's owner John said he arrived back home yesterday and has settled in well.

    “I was asking people - do you think he will recognise me? But he came home, just had a brief look round and is now right at home," he said.

    “I wasn’t expecting it at all. When I got the call from the RSPCA inspector - she asked me where I was and when I told her she said ‘where’s that?’ which I thought was strange as I assumed she would be local but when she told me where she was and where she had found him I couldn’t believe it!

    “I’m absolutely thrilled to have him back.”

    What an amazing tail (get it?)....

    A cat who disappeared from his home in Hucknall has been found 150 miles away in Hounslow, West London!

    Buddy went missing in September, so how he got there is a complete mystery.

    A concerned member of the public in the Feltham area of the town called the RSPCA two weeks ago after seeing Buddy looking "lost and confused"

    Inspector Leanna Hone said his microchip was up to date which led her back to his delighted owner John Pidgeon.

    A yellow weather warning has been issued, which is valid until 21:00.

    Slow-moving, heavy showers which have been developing during the late morning and early afternoon are becoming more widespread and will continue to affect some areas through the rest of this afternoon onwards into this evening.
